SHIPPING POLICY
Where we ship
We ship throughout the United States — all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
We do not ship internationally.
Standard shipping
Standard shipping is a flat $12.50 per order, to any address we ship to.
There is no minimum order, no free-shipping threshold, and no upper limit. The rate does not change with the size, weight or value of your order, and it does not change for Alaska, Hawaii or the U.S. territories listed above.
Standard orders ship by UPS or USPS from our Los Angeles warehouse. We choose the carrier based on the size and destination of the shipment.
Faster shipping
If you need an order sooner, expedited options appear at checkout once you have entered your delivery address:
- UPS 2nd Day Air — arrives within two business days of dispatch
- UPS Next Day Air Saver — arrives the next business day after dispatch
The price for these services depends on how much your order weighs and how far it has to travel, so the exact amount is shown to you at checkout before you pay. Standard shipping is always offered alongside them, and is selected by default.
Expedited shipping is available on orders up to 30 pounds. If your order is heavier than that and you need it quickly, call us at 818-994-4422 before you check out and we will quote the fastest service available for a shipment that size.
Expedited shipping is also not offered to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Those orders ship at the standard $12.50 rate.
Business days are counted from the day your order is dispatched, not the day you place it. An order placed late in the day may not go out until the following business day, so please call us at 818-994-4422 if your timing is tight and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Tracking
When your order ships you will receive an email with a tracking number. The tracking link will match the carrier used — UPS shipments track at ups.com/track, USPS shipments at tools.usps.com.
Processing and delivery times
Orders are processed and dispatched on business days. We do not ship on weekends or public holidays.
Most items are in stock and go out promptly once your order has been processed. Delivery time for standard shipping depends on how far your order has to travel from Los Angeles. As a guide, counting business days from the day we dispatch:
- Western states (CA, NV, AZ, OR, WA, ID, UT, NM, CO, WY, MT): 1 to 2 days
- Central states (TX, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, WI, IL, MS): 3 to 4 days
- Eastern and southeastern states: 4 to 6 days
- Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. territories: longer, and it varies by destination
These are carrier estimates for standard ground service, not guarantees. If a delivery date matters, call us before you order and we will tell you what is realistic.
During severe weather or peak periods, allow extra time. Carriers do not guarantee expedited transit times during a declared service disruption, and neither can we.
Back orders
Our stock levels move quickly and a back order occasionally happens. If we are out of stock of something you ordered, we will ship what we have and you will not be charged for anything we could not send.
If you paid for expedited shipping and we can only send part of your order, contact us and we will make it right.
Address accuracy
Please check your delivery address before you place an order. We are not able to redirect a shipment once it has left us, and a package returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address will need to be reshipped at the standard rate.
If UPS or USPS corrects your address in transit, we may receive and store the corrected version so that future orders reach you.
Problems with a delivery
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or does not arrive when the tracking says it should, contact us within a reasonable time and we will put it right.
